# Problem-solving at the source

Privy Labs is committed to solving the problem of piracy at the source of the content. Companies in our peer group have long taken a reactive approach to solving the issue instead of a proactive approach, by providing service products to help creators remove content or prosecute bad actors after-the-fact rather than attempting to mitigate the vectors when the content is created. We believe our approach is a viable comprehensive solution.
